Krafton, the developer of the game, gave some information about the details of the PUBG Deston map during a live broadcast recently. The upcoming map will be the ninth map we saw in PUBG. Players have already repeatedly said on social media that it is time to add a new map to the game.

PUBG Deston map comes with city theme

Krafton made a statement for the PUBG Deston map during the live broadcast on June 24. Confirming the future of the map, the developer team also informed that the map will be city-oriented. The Deston map will be the first since Taego, which was added in 2021. A trailer was also shared with the actors during the live broadcast.

All the details about the Deston map were given on the official website . The new map, which will come with new features such as Fortnite-style climbing ropes, air boots, a permanent parachute ability, promises players much more. The Deston map will be released on July 13. More details and the release time will be officially announced very soon. Krafton also added that the Deston Survivor Pass will be coming on July 13.

When I look at the map details, it will be 8×8 in size. The city is in an abandoned position after being devastated by a giant hurricane. It is said that boats are needed to move around some parts of the map because a large part of it is under water. There are important locations that will be included in the map, these are shown as a concert venue with a big city (called Ripton), a hydroelectric dam, a wind turbine plant, a huge paintball arena, a swamp and a huge inflatable chicken balloon.
