The publisher of Control, Payday 2 and Terraria has announced three more new games

With the complete cancellation of E3, one of the biggest video game shows this year, game companies are chasing alternatives to offer their productions. In addition to the Gamescom and Summer Game Fest options, 505 Games is one of the publishers who decided to organize their own shows. The company, which publishes games such as Terraria, Control, Payday 2 and Death Stranding, made the first presentation in the company’s history on YouTube on May 17.

505 Games announces Miasma Chronicles, Among the Trolls and Stray Blade

The game publisher has enthusiastically introduced three new games that will be released in 2022 and 2023. One of the remarkable details of Miasma Chronicles is that the main character resembles Cal Kestis from Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

Miasma Chronicles is a tactical adventure game developed by the makers of Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. According to 505 Games, the game will combine real-time-exploration-gameplay with RPG elements such as tactical and turn-based combat. Players will embark on a quest to uncover the dark secrets of a post-apocalyptic world that hosts barren lands but is torn apart by a ferocious force described as “Miasma”. There is no clear release date of the game, which has been confirmed only for PC yet.

Another game announced is Among the Trolls, a first-person, survival and action adventure game. Assembled from the developers of Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Vampire: The Maquerade, the team takes players on a quest to find grandparents lost in Finland’s deep forests in a supernatural world. In the process, players are expected to do their best to survive in the wilderness, where they will encounter trolls. The main character of the game is a Finnish American citizen who returns to his homeland in his 30s. The game is expected to be available in early access on Steam by the end of the year.

One of the games shown at the presentation is Stray Blade, which was introduced last year. We take the place of a rogue Adventurer in the action RPG game that will be released in 2023. As the bandit explores the valley of Acres, a character named Boji becomes a companion who resembles a gremlin, can cast spells and helps the player revive when he falls. Both Boji and the main character will have upgradable cranberry trees. The game, which continues to register for the PC closed beta, is expected to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S.
