Riftbreaker will debut on October 14 on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC, and will also be available on Xbox Game Pass for Console, Cloud and PC. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be released at a later date.
Developed on EXOR Studios’ proprietary Schmetterling 2.0 engine, The Riftbreaker supports advanced ray tracing technology on both consoles and PC. Thanks to AMD’s Fidelity FX Super Resolution technology, the game runs in 4K resolution with 60FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with ray tracing enabled. In Xbox Series X, ray tracing is inactive and can be played at the same resolution and frame rate.
Console versions of the game have full mouse and keyboard support.
About the game
You’re taking on the role of Captain Ashley S. Nowak. You are a distinguished scientist in a powerful Mecha Suit and a Riftbreaker in a coma. Log into a one-way portal to Galatea 37 in remote parts of the Milky Way Galaxy to re-return to Earth and build a base for further colonization. Ashley’s Mecha Suit, which he calls Mr Riggs, can withstand the harshest environmental conditions and has a variety of equipment for basic construction, sample collection, resource extraction and, of course, challenging challenges.
