One of the games with one of the most passionate player audiences in the world is The Sims series. The famous and meaningless alphabet of the series has been a huge question mark for years. The series, which is claimed to use an alphabet that the players call “Simlish”, is actually home to reactions that make no sense.
Don’t get me wrong, these allegations belong not to us, but to Kid Beyond, who is part of the voice team of the series. Beyond, who voiced In The Sims 2, made an important statement regarding the aforementioned Simlish alphabet. Answering the question that has been asked for years, the artist stated that there is no such language in fact.
Responding to questions on his official Twitter account, Beyond said these strange conversations were created “completely improvised” by the voice cast. So every weird sound effect you hear when the Sims are talking is just a weird word that actors make up in their heads.
