Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment have released the first trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Nintendo hosted an event called Nintendo Direct: Super Mario Bros. Movie Presentation, where it showcased the teaser trailer for the animated film on October 6.
Chris Pratt will voice Mario and Charlie Day will voice Luigi. Anya Taylor-Joy will voice Princess Peach and Jack Black will voice Bowser.
The film is co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and will be released worldwide by Universal Pictures.
The Super Mario Bros. animated film will be released in North America on April 7, 2023 and in Japan on April 28.
