The zombie theme is no longer as popular as it used to be, but today it exists with Dying Light 2. If we look back at the past, when this theme was at its peak, we were greeted by famous productions such as Left 4 Dead, Dead Rising and The Walking Dead.
A video has comeed the issue as Teltale Games celebrates the 10th anniversary of their famous production. In the video, the developer team shares their thoughts and feelings about the brand they created years later.
Valve in talks for The Walking Dead
According to the video, The Walking Dead was originally consigned as a zombie adventure game set in a different universe. Specifically, the studio contacted Valve to do something set in the Left 4 Dead universe. Telltale Games was certain about the structure of the game. It was going to be no different than what you do now. Given the slightly more humorous stance of Left 4 Dead and the emotional stance of The Walking Dead, the work that would come out could have been interesting.
But Robert Kirkman, author of The Walking Dead comics, jokingly said they were glad they didn’t do it. Among the episodes that have aired, it still seems to be the first episode to be the favorite of the players. In short, considering why, Lee’s ownership of Clementine, whom he met by chance, as if he were his father, conquered the hearts of the players.
