Celebrating the seventh anniversary of the game with a message, the CD projekt Red team announced that the game will catch up with this year through the official social media accounts of the Witcher series. The production, which was previously pointed to the last months of 2021, was postponed and a definite release date was not given. In this new statement, although the exact date is not given, it is stated that the new generation version will be released in the last quarter of 2022.
“We are happy to share that the Next Generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is scheduled to be released in Q4 2022.”
Marcin Momot, global community manager at CD projekt Red, said in a statement that The Witcher 3 next-generation version will include the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansion packs, as well as all the DLC packs released.
