Season 2 of The Witcher aired in recent weeks, and most of us watched the new season first. Perhaps some of you have even refreshed your memory by watching the first season again before the second season. It’s a reminder of how much we love The Witcher, and it’s safe to say that it also caused people to play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt once again.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt had between 20,000 and 30,000 simultaneous casts during the year, but with the show’s release, there was a sudden rise in the number of simultaneous casts, and the average is still high. Wild Hunt almost doubled the number of actors with 78,592 simultaneous cast after the series;
When the first season of the show aired, the number of actors reached 100,000 simultaneously. The fact that a game seven years ago is still played by so many more players is an indication of what a special game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is.
