Telltale Games heralded a surprise comeback at The Game Awards in 2019 and announced that The Wolf Among Us 2 was in development. A team, including the directors of the first play, Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart, and its author Pierre Shorette, were working on the game under the roof of AdHoc Studio, and the tasting video showed the AdHoc logo in addition to the Telltale logo.
Now we have the first trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2:
The game will be released in 2023 and will be available on PC (Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4 and PS5.
Telltale Games CEO Jamie Ottilie said the game would be broadcast in episodic format again, and that they planned to even air weekly episodes, just like tv series. The entire season will actually be ready before the first episode of the game airs, which will prevent delays between episodes.
Writing on playStation Blog about the game, Darren Gladstone echoed the theme of the Fable comic, saying, “Fairy tales are real, they live side by side with people in New York City.”
The Wolf Among Us 2 will be about six months after the events of the first game. In the role of Bigby, we will once again find ourselves in a difficult case and make difficult decisions about who to help. Telltale doesn’t go into any more detail in terms of the story.
Telltale is a turn, we can say pir is back, because together with Life is Strange studio Deck Nine, they are also developing a game based on Amazon’s terrific sci-fi series The Expanse, which made the finale.
