It is now known that Sony will now bring an increasing number of PlayStation games to PC gamers. So far we’ve only been able to play two games like this, Horizon Zero Dawn in 2017 and Days Gone in 2019. The PlayStation portfolio includes a wide range of games, from Uncharted; to God of War; to Bloodborne; to The Last of Us;
Of course, this decision drew the ire of some PlayStation players. “They’re our exclusive games, how can you bring them to PC?” Herman Hulst is also making statements whenever he can to address such concerns.
PlayStation Studios recently said that studios are currently developing 25 games, more than half of which are new IP. Now, once again, he reiterated that console games are a priority, that their games will first appear on PlayStation, not multi-platform.
“It will be approximately two years between the release of our games on our platform and the release of them on the PC platform. But you can trust us to continue to produce exclusive content that will make a mark on the platform, that’s why we already exist. It is very important for us to get maximum efficiency from the platform”, says Hulst.
At least two years have already passed since the release dates of the PS4 games that PC gamers first want to see, hulst’s statement simply means that PC versions of PlayStation 5 games should not be talked about for a while.
