Broadcaster Thunderful Games today announced the acquisition of Spanish game developer Stage Clear Studios.
The company will pay €600,000 ($712,000) and $400,000 ($474,643) in stock upfront.
In addition, up to $1.5 million ($1.7 million) will be generated if Stage Clear Studios meets its agreed performance targets by June 30, 2025.
“This agreement strengthens our international position and expands our network towards more development studios,” said Agostino Simonetta, Thunderful’s chief strategy and investment officer.
Founded in 2012, Stage Clear Studios co-develops games such as The Coma: Recut and Cloudpunk on consoles, PCs and mobile devices.
Last year, Thunderful Games acquired a number of game developers, including Station Interactive AB, To The Sky and Headup.
