Hearthstone’s Classic format takes its place in the inn today. Create your decks and enjoy the competition using the 240 cards included in the first version of the game in 2014! The Basic, Classic and Hall of Fame cards in your collection will be available in Classic format as they were in 2014. This means that all the balance changes that have been introduced to the game since then will be reversed.
Time travel begins with Hearthstone Classic Format
- Cards from classic packages will now be added to your collection for both the Classic format and the Wild heritage set.
- Opening its wild format will also give you access to the Classic format.
- Classic reward systems, degree systems and seasons will operate just like Standard and Wild, and this format will have its own matching pool.
- Starting today, you’ll be able to challenge your friends in Classic format.
- Games played in classic format will provide progress for all relevant Achievements.
- With the release of the classic format, the total number of decks will increase from 18 to 27.
- Cards added to the classic set later in Hearthstone will not be available in Classic format and will not come out of Classic packages. These cards can be processed under the Heritage set of the Wild format.
