Developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu, the retro-inspired beat-em-up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder;s Revenge continues to reap the fruits of positive reviews from the press and actors. The game managed to surpass 1 million sales less than a month after its release. Moreover, it should be noted that the game is included in Game Pass from the first day.
Jean-Francois Major, co-founder of Tribute Games, said it was great that the beat-em-up genre was so appreciated by both old and new players, adding, “We are grateful for the support and encouragement of the passionate TMNT community since the day we announced TMNT: Shredder;s Revenge; “We can’t wait to see players continue to explore the Easter eggs we’ve been hiding.”
Emre de Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder;s Revenge gave the game a score of 8.5 in his review, saying, “It was a game that fulfilled what it wanted to do in perhaps the most successful way possible, studied its lesson very well and, most importantly, perfectly lived and even revived the spirit of the series.”
Of course, let me give you some bad news (if you haven’t heard of it yet). Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder;s Revenge came out with a price tag of 40 TL, and even sold with a 10% exit discount for a long time.
But later, Dotemu changed local pricing and Turkey suddenly became one of the countries where the game was sold at the most expensive price. With the change made on July 12, the price of the game was 269 TL. I personally wouldn’t recommend buying games at this price, especially for such a short game, which is too high. Luckily there’s Game Pass, right?
