The Workshops organized by the Turkish Game Developers Association (TOGED) and organized in cooperation with METU Teknokent Management Inc. (METU Teknokent), Middle East Technical University (METU) and Ankara Development Agency are organized on May 26-27 with Advanced Game Prototyping Techniques and Publishing and Investor Relations. The online workshop aims to give medium-sized studios that want to expand the scope of their activities with independent developers the experience of both rapid prototyping and engaging with prospective investors and publishers.
Advanced Prototyping Techniques Workshop
The first day of the two-day workshop will focus on how to prepare a product prototype as quickly as the fastest. The workshop, which is open to all groups and individuals in the gaming sector and is completely free, will be given by experienced people from studios that have done successful work in the gaming sector.
The workshop will focus on topics such as workflows in prototype-based game development, tools for idea and trend tracking, and the transition from prototype to MVP.
Participants will be able to follow the workshop on toged Discord server, TOGED YouTube and TOGED Facebook pages, and submit their questions via Discord.
Publishing and Investor Relations Workshop
The second workshop, to be held on May 27th, will focus on how developers can best explain their products to publishers and investors. The workshop, which will evaluate developer-investor/publisher relations from both sides, aims to give participants experience on how to present companies, projects and products effectively to investors and publishers. In this context, participants will be expected to present to mentors about their work or products at the end of the workshop.
In preparation, the groups will have the opportunity to come together in their own Discord rooms to work on their presentations and consult with mentors in the process.
