Eidos-Montréal announced that sales of the Tomb Raider series to date have reached 88 million units worldwide. This information was provided during a live broadcast in which it was revealed that embracer group would buy Eidos-Montréal from Square Enix.
Various information was shared for the series live on air. This includes total sales of the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy package, which includes Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, reaching 38 million worldwide. Of the series’ 88 million sales, 38 million are owned by reboot trilogy.
Meanwhile, various figures have been published on mobile games such as Lara Croft: Relic Run and Lara Croft: Go. Eidos-Montréal announced that mobile Tomb Raider games have reached a total of 53 million downloads.
