Activision was planning to release a remastered collection of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 following the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. However, at a canine release event for Tony Hawk, it was stated that this collection version was shelved.
The Vicarious Visions team, the developer of the series, rolled up their sleeves for the 3rd and 4th games. They even sought a partnership for this, but it was stated that a suitable partner could not be found for them. For now, those plans have been shelved. It is possible to start working again with a new partnership in the future. Vicarious Visions is the developer of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is currently available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC through the Epic Games Store.
