Last week on Steam; that is, the list of best-selling games has been announced between 11 and 17 October. When we look at the list, we see that Back 4 Blood, released last week, has almost taken over the list. New World, which lost its title to Back 4 Blood, has fallen to second place. It’s also a pretty interesting strategy – we also see The Riftbreaker, the base building game, at the top of the list.
Top-selling games on Steam last week (October 11 – 17)
Back 4 Blood and The Riftbreaker, which were added to the Xbox Game Pass library as soon as they were released, make up the bulk of the Steam list – Especially Back 4 Blood. In addition, New World, which is gradually trying to win over players after its highly problematic exit, manages to turn its negative reviews into positives and takes second and fifth place on the list. The list is also home to surprising names such as Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles.
Why do I see the same game on the list more than once? In general, some games are released with multiple versions or additional content that can be purchased in-game. These additional buyable packages can be added to the bestseller list separately. Therefore, one name you see in the list is the standard version, while another name you see can be the ‘ultimate’ version.
