Torchlight, Hyper Light Drifter;its sequel, Hyper Light Breaker, Neverwinter DVO; and Perfect World Entertainment, the publisher of games such as Water, were acquired by embracer group.
Following the sale, the publisher came under the Gearbox brand, after which its games will be released under the Gearbox Publishing label. “There has been no change in our staff. Our games will continue to be broadcast by the same enthusiastic group of players. Although our company name is changing, our games, development plans and passion will continue unchanged.”
The change will not affect the broadcaster’s live service games, and support for Neverwinter, Star Trek Online and Have a Nice Death will continue.
