Publisher PQube and developers Dual Effect and Abstract Digital Works have announced that survival horror game Tormented Souls will debut for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2021, along with previously announced versions of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC (Steam).
In August 2020, the decision was made to cancel playstation 4 and xbox one versions. However, now approval for these versions has been granted again.
The PlayStation 4 version will be available physically, along with the previously announced PlayStation 5 and Switch versions.
About the game
Tormented Souls is inspired by games like survival horror classics Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark, and aims to provide a modern gameplay experience with enhanced visuals, controls and dynamic camera while retaining the features that gamers love in these classics.
You’ll take on the role of Caroline Walker, who investigates missing twin girls in Winterlake. Caroline Walker finds herself naked in the bathroom of an abandoned mansion and bound for some medical equipment as a result of an incident that happened to her during her research. Within this mansion you will solve various puzzles, uncover hidden and dark secrets and encounter terrifying creatures.
