Toshimichi Mori, creator of the BlazBlue series, has announced his departure from Arc System Works after 19 years.
A message from Mori, translated by Gematsu, reads: “I have something to let all fans know. I, Toshimichi Mori, have left the Arc System Works team where I worked for many years.
I first joined the Arc System Works team as a PicPac employee. I then moved on to the Guilty Gear X project, where I developed various fighting games and my own games for 20 years. I presented the BlazBlue series to you in this process and I wanted to share all the experiences I have gained with you.
I can do nothing but thank the Arc System Works team, the teammates who worked with me, and also everyone who supported us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
BlazBlue is a fighting game series published and developed by Arc System Works.
