For the past two years, the postponement of the release dates of the games has become commonplace news. This time, the news of the postponement came from SEGA; Total War: WARHAMMER III has been postponed until the first months of 2022. Although the previously announced release date is 2021, the fact that no clear date has been shared to date suggests that such a postponement may have come, as it did.
The reason for the postponement was explained as “giving the Creative Assembly team time to better optimize the game”. In the announcement of the postponement; Rob Bartholomew says they don’t see the game’s release as the end of a trilogy, but rather a start to years of content.
