A number of new works have been announced, mainly related to other important productions of the series, including Far Cry 6, which will be released on October 7th. The Art of Far Cry 6
Dark Horse Books and Ubisoft Toronto have joined forces to create The Art of Far Cry 6, a beautiful book that will take readers on a visual journey through the vibrant island of Yara. Oversized full-color book with concept drawings, character designs and stunning environments and landscapes; It provides comprehensive information about Antón Castillo’s regime, the Libertad guerrillas and their cunningly crafted arsenals. The Art of Far Cry 6 will be available everywhere the books are sold on October 12, 2021.
Far Cry: Rite of Passage hardcover edition
Far Cry: Rite of Passage, a Dark Horse comic book series that brings together fans’ favorite villains, is a realistic tale of the complicated road to power. The story begins with President Antón Castillo’s only son, Diego, just turning thirteen. But this birthday will be more than a celebration, even a ceremony of transition to puberty. Antón wants to teach Diego important lessons in leadership, and he tells cautionary tales about the destruction of three legendary men: Vaas Montenegro, a pirate, Pagan Min, a dictator and Joseph Seed, a preacher.
The first of the 3-point miniseries has already been released in the UNITED States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Far Cry: Rite of Passage will be collected in a hardcover format and will be released on November 30, 2021, both in english-speaking countries and in other parts of the world. Written by Bryan Edward Hill, drawn by Geraldo Borges, painted by Michael Atiyeh and written by Comicraft, the series also includes cover designs by artist Matt Taylor.
Far Cry: Esperanza’s Tears
For Juan Cortez, the lead character of Far Cry 6, a peaceful life is not possible: he offers his expertise as a professional guerrilla to various political and criminal organizations around the world. Antón Castillo is back in power, while his latest contract takes him away from Yara. Organized by a humble revolutionary movement led by a renowned university teacher in Santa Costa, a South American country where a highly valuable metal called Tantalium has become the focal point, Juan falls into a deadly trap. This adrenaline-fueled comic revisits the cinematic universe of Far Cry 6 in a wild, action-packed story with a fascinating cast of characters. Far Cry: Esperanza’s Tears, written by Mathieu Mariolle and drawn and colored by Afif Khaled with the help of Salaheddine Basti, will be published by Glénat Editions in November 2021.
The Far Cry Survival Manual
In The Far Cry Survival Manual, journalist Hunter Nash describes his perilous journeys through the Rook Islands, Montana’s Hope County, the Republic of Yara and beyond to explore and survive both the most extreme situations and environments. Inspired by their favorite games, the book draws readers into the Far Cry universe with practical tips on survival, self-defense, extreme sports, acrobatics driving and more. The Far Cry Survival Manual will be released by Insight Editions on September 21, 2021.

The actors, who play wounded native Dani Rojas, will explore the entire island nation and join the revolution to save their people from the repressive rule of their young son Diego, played by dictator Antón Castillo and de Anthony Gonzalez (Coco), brought to life by Hollywood stars Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad). Far Cry 6 can be played solo or co-op with 2 people, and will be available worldwide on October 7th for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation4, Stadia, Amazon Luna and Windows PC only on Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store.
