Treyarch, a subsidiary of Activision and one of the leading developers of Call of Duty, issued a statement via Twitter saying there was no room for discrimination in the studio.
Treyarch’s statement reads: “Our goal as a studio is to make great games that the world will enjoy. Successfully continuing this effort was made possible thanks to Treyarch’s employees. We are a studio of talented and expert people who are trying our best.

There is no place for sexism, harassment, racism, bigotry, discrimination and bullying in our team culture. We’re leaving another year behind. Our priority is for everyone to improve. We continue to provide a safe and inclusive working environment for this.”
The ABK Workers Alliance account, which consists of Activision Blizzard King employees, also thanked him on Twitter.
We’d like to thank Treyarch for stepping up and starting to have this conversation. Admitting that things haven’t been perfect is hard, but it’s even harder to take a stance against it. Thank you, thank you. We look forward to making #ABetterABK with you. https://t.co/cEggfvxlZn
