Mobile developer Tripledot Studios has set up a new office in Barcelona, primarily to serve as a development center for the company.
Former Facebook executive Eran Herzberg has been appointed the studio’s general manager. Herzberg worked as a product marketing manager before being assigned to Tripledot.
“Barcelona is one of the most creative and innovative cities and one of the leading centers of Europe in the field of mobile gaming,” Herzberg said.
Also earlier this year, the company raised $78 million in a Series A financing round backed by Eldridge, Access Industries and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
