I should have said in one of the stories we’ve written with Tunic before, I think we have a tiny little hero who’s up for being one of the cutest foxes in the gaming world. We’ve been waiting for him for a long time, he’s been put off for a long time; He finally checked out as of yesterday. The beauty of it is that he came to Game Pass on the day of his release.
If my memory doesn’t mislead me, there was an expectation that he would come to Game Pass on the day of release, and there were claims made, but this was denied by the game’s distributor. But we saw last night that it wasn’t what they said it was, it was one of those games that was added to Game Pass on the day of the release.
This was, of course, a development that delighted me as well as many players. The only source of my joy is not being able to play the game at no additional cost, of course that is the most attractive part of the job for game lovers, but I also see such collaborations as an opportunity for such games to reach a wider audience.
Hopefully, it’s been a successful game, it’s worth the wait, it’s a performance that delights its producer. Review scores give hope in this direction, let’s see if it can get equally positive feedback from gamers.
