Developer Project Lumina has announced that it will release two new DLC characters for Melty Blood: Type Lumina this summer. In addition, he announced that he will release two new characters this winter.
Following these character announcements for the game, several free update plans were also announced. It was also announced that an official United States tournament would be held.
The official tournament in the U.S. will be held from July 23-24.
Features included in the upcoming update:
– Major updates have been made to all characters and systems.
– Combo damage will now be displayed during the fight.
– Added the option “Save Training and Continue Training” in Training Mode.
– A new feature has been added to Replay Mode to make replay more comfortable.
– Changed the match invitation function for ranked matches.
– Training mode for ranked matches has been changed to make matchmaking easier.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina is currently available for PC on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam.
