Ubisoft, which has come to the forefront with Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry and many more series, has announced that it will disable the servers of old games. With the closure of the servers, access to the multiplayer service will not be provided.
According to Ubisoft, disabling these services will not only affect the servers, but will also block access to downloadable content of some games. Games where the service will be disabled include Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed 3 (2012 Edition), Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Driver: San Francisco, and more.
Here is the full list of games where the servers will be shut down:
– Anno 2070 (PC): The multiplayer service will not be accessible, Ubisoft accounts will not be able to link to the game, and online features will not be available.
– Assassin’s Creed II (PC & PlayStation 3): The multiplayer service will not be accessible. Account linking will not be possible.
