Fortunately, there was no damage to the painting, which was displayed behind a bulletproof protector and removed from this special protected area only once a year. After this attack, a statement came from Ubisoft, which also included Leonardo Da Vinci in the Assassin’s Creed series.
The company, which combines an image of Ezio and Leonardo Da Vinci in the game with the moment of attack and emphasizes the disguise incident, made the following statements in its statement; “The world-famous masterpiece “#MonaLisa” was attacked with cake by a man skilled in disguise, and we received questions about whether there was a connection between the suspect and the Brotherhood of Assassins.
