Far Cry 6 director Navid Khavari confirmed the play was “political (political, political).” This statement and verification probably comes after Khavari wants to answer questions about this issue in the future.
Ubisoft announced in a blog post on its official website that Far Cry 6 contains a political story.
Khavari said the open-world shooter game for the cuban-inspired scenario of overthrowing a fascist dictator on the island of Yara was clearly political.
Ubisoft’s post read: “Our story is political. It’s a story about the modern revolution. Far Cry 6 describes the conditions that led to the rise of fascism in a nation, the costs of imperialism, and tough and appropriate issues about forced labor.”
Finally, the post explains: “All we ask is that the political repercussions do not lead to harsh opinions and that you focus on the story itself.”
