Ubisoft announced the establishment of Ubisoft Sherbrooke, the fourth development studio in the province of Quebec.
The company said the studio will “bring together a multidisciplinary and diverse team of professionals from many specialties.”
Nathalie Jasmin has been appointed managing director of the new Sherbrooke studio. He first joined Ubisoft as a senior producer in 2012 and became director of Ubisoft’s online service platform Harbour in 2019.
Nathalie Jasmin, director of Ubisoft Sherbrooke, said: “By opening this studio, we will offer new options to our existing employees, offer new opportunities for local talent, and actively support our communities.”
In addition to the studio’s announcement, Ubisoft said it would invest $17 million to support young people’s education, entrepreneurship and innovation.
