Earlier this month, Ubisoft unveiled a new NFT platform called Quartz. Following this introduction, Ghost Recon announced that it will add unique cosmetic elements of NFT to Breakpoint. With a new move, he announced that they will continue to explore this technology.
Didier Genevois, blockchain technical director at Ubisoft, said in an interview with Decrypt: “We have received a lot of positive and negative feedback about adding NFT to games. The company plans to continue adding and exploring NFT to games.
We have received a lot of feedback since the announcement. We are also a little concerned after both positive and negative notifications. We pay attention to every step of this move towards technology. We know this is a big change that’s going to take time. However, you can be sure that we will stick to our three principles in this process.”
Among these three principles, Genevois reported, are: Consciously using technology, allowing players to see how NFT works, and creating a secure environment to use Blockchain technology.
