Watch Dogs Legion didn’t last long. Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs: Legion, released in October 2020, will never receive content support again. Over the course of almost two years, Watch Dogs:Legion was added to its new multiplayer modes, characters and bloodline DLC,where everyone’s favorite hacker Aidan Pearce returns.
Watch Dogs Legion will go back and forth between old seasons
Watch Dogs: Legion’s latest multiplayer season, called Stripes, will begin at the end of January as planned. Watch Dogs: Legion Stripes seasonwill “end” after the game’s multiplayer mode ends.
Ubisoft’s official statement on the subject reads:
” The current season of the game will last until January 22, 2022, followed by the fifth season stripes. Then the content of the game will be continuously alternated between season 3 and season 5, giving you the chance to retake rewards you didn’t get before.”
Time will tell whether Ubisoft will end the Watch Dogs series entirely, which it has not received with great expectations, or whether it will continue the universe with another game. Fans of the game can try to get the old rewards by continuing to play the game. Ubisoft has not announced when watch dogs legion servers will shut down.
