Developer and publisher Ubisoft is reportedly not going very well for a free-to-play skating sports game called Roller Champions. According to a new insider, Ubisoft will completely stop the development of the game at the end of the third season due to the low number of players.
In Roller Champions, announced in 2019 and released in May of this year, players can put on their skates and fight for victory. Roller Champions is a free-to-play, teamed PvP sports game.
Speaking on the Xbox Era podcast, Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb read the message from a source. In this source “Roller Champions 3. It will be removed from service after the season – it will be canceled.”
Roller Champions has rolled out a lot of new content to players since its launch, and at its last financial meeting, Ubisoft stated that this game is more than the canceled battle royale game Hyper Scape.
Ubisoft, on the other hand, continues to cancel and postpone many games. It was recently reported that the VR version of Splinter Cell, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Frontline, and more have been cancelled. In addition, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been postponed to 2023-2024.
