[ In our weekly Unforgettable Soundtracks column, we remember together the soundtracks that do not leave our memories, leaving deep traces and sweet memories in all of us. ]
One of the things I admire most about Star Wars is its mystical vibe. Although Lucas is trying to undermine this mystical mood with the new trilogy and then the Disney disgraceful trilogy, there’s a great atmosphere at its core. Years later, in 1999, I likened the story of people reunited with Phantom Manace to Star Wars; a romantic relationship. When everything’s going to be fine, all of a sudden Jar-Jar comes together and your dreams are ruined. Fortunately, the best things about Star Wars are not movies, butknights of the old republic, perhaps the scene of one of the most memorable stories set in this universe, had plenty of propositions about both inhem mysticism and Star Wars politics.
Normally, I’m not really good with music, so much so that even in high school, when one’s taste in music began to settle, I could never concentrate on the music side. But in those years, I played a lot of games, so I developed an interest in soundtracks. I don’t know what popular bands and singers say, but the song that plays in a play has a direct connotation. Anyway, without further ado, KOTOR;a return to the balance of light/dark side in the game, the view of power and revan;’s journey are elements that smell of mysticism. Most of the planets we go to have their own atmosphere, bringing a separate adventure. But when dantooine is mentioned, the running water stops for KOTOR, because this is exactly the intersection of everything.
The Battle of Mandalorian, jedi, sith is a complex story and the mystical atmosphere that lies in the background. Can you find them all in a composition that’s a little over a minute long? There’s no obvious description of the feelings when it comes to Star Wars music. That’s where dantooine theme starts to work inside you. When you solve a big puzzle, you first complete the corners, then gradually move towards the middle or Dantooine is the first stop after the corners. That’s exactly where you realize you’re getting close to understanding and accomplishing something. I will not spoil the surprises of the remake of the game on the way, but rather I will be very happy for the surprises that a person who will play KOTOR for the first time in his life will find in Dantooine.
That’s the way it is, dear Gamers, under this heading we reminisce about the wonderful soundtrack. I thought I’d take a slightly different path this time, expressing both my unending, inexhaustible love for Star Wars and my sadness at the state the brand has become in recent years. When it comes to Star Wars, there’s always hope. Dantooine’s song, like A New Hope, gives you hope again. I believe that the remake of KOTOR will give us these feelings again. See you in many articles that refresh you, where you can re-express yourself in a game world.. Until then, may the power be with all of you!
