[ In our weekly Unforgettable Soundtracks column, we remember together the soundtracks that do not leave our memories, leaving deep traces and sweet memories in all of us. ]
I’ve played a lot of games, of course. I’m one of those guys who tries to find something to love in almost every game. But there are games where you can’t just say, He leaves me no business with it, and it seems impossible not to like these games, not to admire them. The Sanitarium is one of the most important members of this list for me. Now let me not talk about why I love the Sanitarium so much, it is the subject of another article 🙂 Today, it’s one of the pieces that’s on my mind at the Sanitarium; The Innocent Abandoned…
The Innocent Abandoned
When we started the Sanitarium, we were opening our eyes, lost our memories and locked in a mental institution. We were getting out of this place where we were locked under the wings of an angel and we were finding ourselves in a town, a town full of children with no trace of adults. Episode 2 of the game, The Innocent Abandoned, was, of course, one of the most striking, memorable episodes. At the beginning of the episode, we were getting a sign of what was actually waiting for us with the scene where we saw a girl who had lost one of her legs jumping rope, but then with our conversation with each deformed child, both our sadness and our anger are a little more swobbly, and in the end, we are responsible for all of this . The Mother; we were closing our account with .
One of the details that made this episode beautiful for me was this piece that was waiting for us here and I thought it would fit very well with this section:
The track, which made a light entrance with three notes in the front and a brisk flow at the back, loaded both tension and sadness in the middle and headed towards the finale, while its choking screams were lightly rendered in our minds. He was doing his final the way he started and still being among the soundtracks we didn’t forget years later…
