The unopened copy of Super Mario 64 set a record last month as the most expensive video game ever sold. The copy of the game was given a 9.8++ rating by video game rating company Wata, taking into account the package status, and sold at auction on Sunday , July 11, for $1.56 million.
The record for the most expensive video game has been broken once again. A copy of Super Mario Bros. (NES) has been sold by an anonymous buyer for $2 million on the collection site Rally.
Super Mario Bros. (NES) is one of the best-selling video games of all time, selling more than 40 million copies. It is also among the productions that popularized the NES and introduced Nintendo worldwide.
