id Software has released a new patch for Doom Eternal. According to the release notes, Update 6.1 corrects a series of errors and crashes on the PC. Moreover, it comes with some BATTLEMODE fixes.
The 6.1 patch is a fairly minor update. Therefore, no performance improvement should be expected compared to the previous patch.

Story Mode for All Platforms
– Fixed an issue during combat that caused bullets to conflict with atrocities and ammo on the ground.
– The Ancient Gods 1. Fixed an issue with the Cacodemons finding their way during the boss match at The Holt in Division.
Story Mode for Xbox Series X|S Only
– The right controller image for Xbox Series X|S will now appear in the Controls menu.
Story Mode for PlayStation Only
– Fixed an issue that prevented PlayStation users from rejoining private matches after disconnecting.
For PC
– Fixed a crash when selecting the Challenges tab in the Pause menu.
– Fixed an issue where players with AMD graphics cards caused visual distortions in many environments.
– Ray tracing will be enabled on PCs with mobile graphics card that supports ray tracing.

BATTLEMODE for All Platforms
– Fixed an issue where Slayer’s weapon skins showed incorrect personalization options.
– Fixed an issue where reborn Demon players would be invisible to other demons while Ray tracing was active.
– Fixed the Demon interface for Latin Spanish users who changed the controller settings.
– Fixed an issue in the Social menu that prevented players from selecting another player whose list was just a favorite or friend.
