Coffee Stain Publishing and developer Iron Gate have announced that they will release Valheim for Xbox Series and Xbox One in spring 2023. Besides that, it will come to the Microsoft Store for PC. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
Both the upcoming Microsoft Store and Xbox console versions will have full cross-play support. No matter what platform players play from, they will build new structures, fight and try to survive together in the dangerous Scandinavian world. The transition to Xbox versions is led by the Piktiv and Fishlabs team.
Piktiv and Fishlabs stated that the new Microsoft Store and Xbox versions of the game will give the best performance.
Henrik, co-founder of Iron Gate, said: “We are proud to present the world of Valheim to our amazing community. We strive to bring our game to more people. We are very happy that the game will soon be coming to Xbox consoles and the Microsoft Store”
