Coffee Stain Publishing and developer Iron Gate AB have announced that valheim, the survival adventure RPG game, has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.
Richard Svensson, CEO of Iron Gate Studio, said of the sales figure: “We never imagined Valheim would grow and sell so big. Last year went faster than we expected. Our team has doubled since the game’s release. We are honored to know that Valheim has been liked by millions of players around the world.”
Valheim is a 1-10 player co-op open world survival craft game. Players take on the role of dead Vikings, battling mythical monsters in purgatory and trying to prove their worth to Odin in order to enter heaven.
Valheim was released for PC on February 2, 2021.
