The VCT EMEA Challengers Promotion tournament begins on April 1st!
THE VALORANT Challengers Promotion Tournament is a nine-team tournament consisting of two stages. 1 in the tournament. In Phase, seven VRL winners are divided into two groups: Group A and Group B. Both teams at the top of the two groups are in the 2nd division. It’s rising to phase. In Group A, which has four teams, a GSL-type system will be implemented: two opening matches, followed by a match between those who lost them, followed by a match between the winners and finally the final match. In Group B, which has three teams, the match format will be in the form of league-style BO3, with the first-placed team automatically ranked 2nd. He’ll rise to phase. The remaining two teams will then play a single BO3 match, with Group B’s 2. He’s going to decide his second team to join the Phase.
Four 1st-in-1s in Phase 2. The stage team will be joined by BIG and SuperMassive Blaze, and there will be a double elimination group challenge. BIG and SuperMassive Blaze will skip Round 1 and play the winners of two games in Round 1. Both of the matches in round 1 will be cross-group matches: Group A winner vs.B Group two and Group B winner vs. Group A runners-up. Each of the Phase 2 matches will take place in the form of BO3. The only exception is the subgroup final, this match will be BO5. Both winners are VCT EMEA Challengers 2. There will be no final match as it will advance to the Stage. If BIG or SuperMassive Blaze falls, they will be included in their chosen VRL region at the beginning of the VCT season.
