Joe Meizies won the london games festival’s Virtual Photographer of the Year competition for his screenshot from Red Dead Redemption 2.
This contest is organized “to capture the most stunning image from a video game”.
Applicants can choose from landscape, portrait and abstract categories and participate with a screenshot from any video game from any platform.
Post-production is allowed on the pictures, but it’s not necessary. The winning image already featured “red and orange tones for a stunning desert photo.” Meizies won a laptop with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti as a reward for this screenshot.
