Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is a Warhammer 40K XCOM; Fortunately, the oddly named Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters found himself starring in an event that will make him remembered, so that perhaps more players will be curious and meet this beautiful game.
As such, the game’s developer Complex Games announced that it would distribute various items to players watching Twitch streams, and thanks to Twitch Drops, many players had access to them. But this campaign has not had the expected effect, but the opposite. “Why should I spend the time I’m going to play the game to watch the game air?” “Why do viewers have items out of the reach of the gamers?”
For example, a Steam review says:
“If there was a way to win them in-game, it wouldn’t be a problem, but you can’t just sit around and have a gun for 2 hours #$&;%! I’m not going to watch Angry Joe.
Naturally, this manifested itself with negative comments on Steam and social media.
On top of all this, Complex Games stepped back and announced that all items given as Twitch Drops will be gifted to all players. “We are aware of the discontent with the various Twitch Drops campaigns we have organized in the game’s release. While the sole purpose of these campaigns was to draw attention to the game, we understood that many people were uncomfortable not being able to access these items. That was certainly not our intention, and we are grateful that you shared your thoughts. We will present all items given as Twitch Drops to all players with an update to be released in May.”
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, released May 5.
