Wales Interactive is a company we usually know through FMV games. The Bunker, Late Shift, The Complex, Bloodshore, which we also shared the review on the site, is one of the first things that comes to mind.
And then there’s the play they’re doing, out of the style we’re used to, Sker’s Bridesmaid, or Maid of Sker, as it’s originally called. A thriller-adventure game inspired by British mythology. Now, with a trailer, they’ve announced Sker Ritual, which can be considered a spiritual follower of this game in a sense:
Sker Ritual is a co-op survival game played from a first-person camera. Players will again try to survive against the familiar “Silent Ones” from Maid of Sker, defying fear, but this time there is a co-op for up to 4 people. Of course, it is also possible to play one person if you wish, the choice is yours.
There is no clear release date for Sker Ritual, but it is stated that it will debut for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One this summer. So we’ll meet him in 2-3 months. Let’s see if it’s going to be a popular game this time.
