We’ve been getting frequent delays, and the games that are said to be coming out later this year are slowly shifting to 2022. Just remembering the news of the postponement of the importance we received this month, we learned earlier this month that Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong and Sifu– and then Ghostwire: Tokyo and Resident Evil Re:Versewere postponed.
These games include Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
Fatshark has announced that the 4-player co-op Warhammer 40K: Darktide has been postponed until spring 2022. They’re going to use that time to invest in systems that are needed to both improve the overall quality of the game and support Darktide for years to come.
The description of the game on the Steam page is as follows:
This is the new Warhammer: Fight with your friends against enemy mobs in 40,000 experiences. Created by the developers of Vermintide, a bestselling and award-winning series of co-op action games, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a wild, 4-player co-action game set in the city of Tertium.
The seeds of corruption threaten a devastating wave of darkness deep in the city. A heretical cult known as Admonition wants to take control of the planet Atoma Prime and destroy the inhabitants. It is up to you and your allies in the Inquisition to eliminate the enemy before the city submits to Chaos.
