Grand Cathay,one of the oldest and most powerful civilizations in the Warhammer universe, was also one of the least known factions. It is very interesting to fans of the universe; however, the faction that we have not appeared anywhere before (except books and board games) or played in any Warhammer game will be playable with Total War: Warhammer III. Focusing on a cinematic showing the power of Miao Ying, nicknamed the Storm Dragon, ruler of North Cathay, the Creative Assembly team released a new video.

With the structure of Grand Cathay, a faction of sacred dragons, submissive warriors and great war machines, its buildings, armor and some war machines; Its resemblance to Chinese culture is quite remarkable. Located far beyond the Dark Lands and the snowy areas of Kislev, Grand Cathay, a former empire, is a mysterious country with incredible military power.
More details about Cathay, one of the most powerful factions in the universe, will likely be available in the coming weeks. Although no detailed information has yet been published about the faction’s troops and structure, a small question and answer has been made on the official Total War website.
