Publisher Deep Silver and developer inXile Entertainment released a trailer for Wasteland 3 titled ‘Welcome to Steeltown’ for the first story expansion, The Battle of Steeltown.
The Battle of Steeltown will debut on June 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, priced $13.99.
About expansion:
The massive Steeltown factory plant produces all the technologies that keep Colorado alive and the Chief in power: trucks, armor, weapons and robots. But deliveries from Steeltown have stalled, and all the Chief hears from Steeltown’s leader, Abigail Markham, is excuses. The Rangers he sent to investigate noticed that the place was a bomb ready to explode. Workers strike, bandits raid unscathed, and no one is allowed through the door; Even the people the Chief sent. Without help, Steeltown could burn to the ground and take Markham with it. Maybe that’s what’s needed. That’s for the Rangers to decide.
Navigate the Steeltown manufacturing plant alone or in co-op mode in this epic, story-driven expansion. Overcome challenging new missions, face new robot enemies, and solve the mystery at the heart of Steeltown however you want.
With new mechanics such as visualized devastating attacks, accumulated status effects, elementsal shields, and non-lethal weapons, tactical warfare takes collisions in Steeltown in new ways.
With battle and gear scaling, both new and returning players can experience Steeltown with a challenge that suits their level, featuring a story and characters that adapt to the decisions they make during their games.
The Battle of Steeltown expands the main game with new enemies, weapons, armor, and world map encounters.
Music Supervisor Mary Ramos and Composer Mark Morgan return with original music and new post-apocalyptic-themed cover songs.
