The CW has announced that The Flash will make its finale with Season 9. It also means that the Arrowverse will come to an end.
In addition, the 9th season of the series will have fewer episodes than the previous ones and we will say goodbye to The Flash with a 13-episode season.
The Flash, which appeared in the series Arrow in 2013 and was portrayed by Grant Gustin, had its own series in 2014. The Arrowverse was later formed with Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, and was later joined by the CW series Black Lightning and Batwoman.
The Arrow series ended in 2020, Black Lightning and Supergirl in 2021, and Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman said goodbye to the screens this year. The only remaining series, The Flash, will also close the Arrowverse.
The 9th and final season of The Flash will be released in early 2023.
