The first full-length trailer for HBO’s Game of Thrones series House of the Dragon, which will tell the story of 200 years ago, has been released. There’s plenty of Targaryen, lots of strife, lots of battle, and lots of dragons in the trailer.
House of the Dragon will be more dragon-heavy than Game of Thrones because after all, the family it is about is the Targaryen family, famous for its dragon riders.
House of the Dragon premieres on HBO Max on August 21, and its first season will consist of 10 episodes.
We’ll see Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen, Emma D&Arcy as Rhaenyra Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alscent Hightower, and Paddy Considine as King Viserys I. The cast also includes Graham McTavish, Rhys Ifans, Eve Best and Sonoya Mizuno.
