The loot box system, which the game world has been discussing for a long time, has slowly begun to disappear with the intervention of some governments. Overwatch, one of the games that have been using the system since the beginning, will finally say goodbye to the loot box system with Overwatch 2.
The system is being replaced by the battle pass system, which has become a norm in online games. With this system, which will be renewed in every season, players will be able to access new cosmetics much more easily. Rewards will include content such as mythic skins, weapon decorations, and banner designs.
Blizzard has also officially announced that you can mutually carry the rewards you earn on PC and console to each other. In fact, you will be able to carry all the rewards you have earned on Overwatch 1 to Overwatch 2. Overwatch 1 maps and modes will be playable on OW2.
