Dark Souls 2 graphics mode posted by a Twitter user aims to take the lighting of the whole game to a different dimension by replacing the game’s shaders with better quality techniques.
Just before the official release of Dark Souls 2, fans of the game were mocking the alpha images that looked better than the finished game. Noticeable decrease in quality despite the long period from the development process to its publication; it made many fans think that the team that made Dark Souls 2 prioritized performance over the aesthetics of the game. The preferences/changes made at the time were met with great controversy among fans. A lot of people thought they were being lied to about the true potential of the game.
